Only three weeks left.

We’ll have Asian pears, Red Delicious apples, Golden Delicious apples,
and Summer Fuji apples. Due to the drought, there will no longer be
peaches for sale. We have a new baked good group, the Ability Baking
Company that employees individuals with intellectual and development
disabilities. They train and find employment for these individuals.
Last week, they had a variety of delicious gluten free cookies and
breads. As an individual that has had an intolerance of gluten for
well over thirty years, I’ve seen a great improvement in the taste of
gluten free baked goods. These baked goods are some of the best I’ve
ever had the pleasure to eat. The cost of the cookies are $1.00 each
and the banana nut bread and blueberry bread is $2.50. Please come out
and support this group. We’ll have our fried pie vendor as well as a
variety of vegetables and other fruit. For this week only, our ground
beef vendor will not be available. The Vietnam Veteran’s of America
will have their booth helping vets of all ages. We’re still taking
food items for the North Jefferson Food Pantry through Good Shepherd
Lutheran Church; the needed items are listed in earlier entries.
Please come out and support our vendors and growers.
