Good bye to a great person

Tomorrow, we’ll be setting up on the parking lot due to the rain.
We’ll have all our growers and vendors except the food vendor, Two
Fat Men Catering; I tried to get them back from their vacation in the
Bahamas, and they chose to stay there. We’ll have the seasonal
vegetables and fruit, honey, fried pies, muscadine juice, fried pies,
baked goods, homemade soap, lotion, Chap Stick, and other personal
items. Please come out and support our growers and vendors.
Last Wed., Bill Woodard, the knife sharpener, lost his battle with
colon cancer. Bill was laid to rest this morning at the National
Military Cemetery in Montevallo. Bill served honorably in the US Army
retiring as a Lt. Col. He served two tours in Viet Nam and received
two bronze stars. All the money Bill made with the knife sharpening
went to his church’s youth ministry. Bill departed this earth and
left a big void; there will be a special place in Heaven for him. God
speed my good friend.
