Today, September 26th, will be our last day for this season. IF you get

This will be our last week of the season; we thank “all y’all” for

We had six entries for our apple pie bake-off contest this past
Thursday. The
$50.00 first place prize winner was Judy Burton; the second place prize,
a half
bushel of apples, was Mary Cate Pentergast; the third place prize, eight
of apples, was Samantha Manning; and the rest received a small bag of
All the pies looked great.

Knife, scissor, and lawn mower blades sharpened on our last day
of this season, Thursday, September 26th.

Upcoming happenings.

Apple Pie Bake-off Contest

This Thursday, September 19th, 2 PM, at the Gardendale Civic Center

$50.00 first prize
1/2 bushel apples second prize
8 quarts of apples third prize
Small basket of apples for remaining contestants

The contest will be held rain or shine; in case of rain,
the event will be held inside the civic center.

We have six contestants, and the three judges will be
Gardendale Mayor Othelle Phillips, Gardendale Chamber of
Commerce Director Amee Donald, and the sponsor, Marva Hazelrig.

Knife, scissor, and lawn mower blades sharpened on our last day
of this season,, Thursday, September 26th.
